Front-two-window tint is a focused package for the driver and front passenger glass. It is especially common on trucks and SUVs that already have darker factory privacy glass behind the front seats.
Factory privacy glass can look dark without providing the same film construction or solar-control performance as an aftermarket ceramic film. The goal may be visual matching, added performance, or both. The live simulator asks whether the rear glass is factory-dark so the preview starts from the correct visual baseline.
A visual match does not mean the front film and rear glass have identical measured VLT. Glass color, factory privacy treatment and viewing conditions affect appearance. Choose the film technology for performance, then use the shade preview as a visual planning tool.
Front-side windows are subject to state tint limits. Review the North Dakota tint-law page before choosing a dark front-window shade and remember that the combined glass-and-film result matters.
Straight answers for Bismarck-area customers comparing window film, coverage, performance and installation.
Yes. The automotive builder supports front driver and passenger window coverage as its own package.
They can be selected to create a closer visual match, but factory glass and film can measure and look different.
Factory privacy glass should not automatically be assumed to provide the same solar performance as an aftermarket ceramic film.
Choose based on the vehicle glass, desired appearance and current North Dakota rules rather than appearance alone.
